The Third Day of the World Firefighting Championship in Harbin, China

From September 5 to 11, the XIX Men's and X Women's World Championships in Fire and Rescue Sports are be held in Harbin, People's Republic of China.

Today, a thrilling competition took place at the stadium, where medals were awarded in the Fire Relay Race 4×100. Athletes had to overcome four stages on their way to the title of champion: a house, a fence, a ladder, and a connection between a hose and a nozzle, extinguishing a flaming baking sheet.




 


Like any competitive day, today was filled with both joyful emotions from successfully completing the race and disappointment from a failed attempt. All the athletes fought for the team's result, giving their all on the track. After all, the struggle for prizes in the race was going on for a split second. The fans cheered on the teams together.

As a result, the men's medals were awarded as follows:

1. China - 55.72 sec.

2. Belarus - 55.78 sec.

3. Russia - 55.93 sec.


For women, the medals were awarded:

1. Russia - 60.74 sec.

2. Kazakhstan – 61.70 sec.

3. Belarus – 61.82 sec.

According to the results of the three-day competition, the Chinese team has taken the lead in the team event, with the Russian team in second place and the Belarusian team in third. The Russian women's team continues to lead, with the Belarusians in second and the Kazakhs taking third place.

Ahead of the athletes, there is one of the most challenging, exciting, and significant events - the "Combat Deployment". In the event of a tie in points, the championship will be decided by the outcome of the Combat Deployment.
