Industrial safety
The Industrial Safety Supervision Department (Gospromnadzor) is a structural subdivision of the MES, which is entrusted with the following tasks:

implementation of supervisory activities in the field of industrial safety, transportation of dangerous goods;
- prevention of accidents and incidents at hazardous production facilities and (or) potentially hazardous facilities and during the transportation of dangerous goods;
- participation in the implementation of the state policy in the field of industrial safety, transportation of dangerous goods;

implementation of the UNECE Convention on the Transboundary Effects of Industrial Accidents.
