Vadim Sinyavsky's Working Visit to Azerbaijan is Continuing

Vadim Sinyavsky's ongoing working visit to Azerbaijan continued today with a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Kamaladdin Heydarov, Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, representatives from both countries discussed cooperation between their respective rescue agencies, including in the context of the implementation of a Comprehensive Action Plan for 2025-2027 that was signed during the visit of Kamaladdin Heydarov to the Republic of Belarus this June.

A special topic of discussion was the use of Belarus-made protective clothing for rescuers and firefighters. Vadim Sinyavsky presented 7 sets of combat clothing to the Azerbaijani side for practical testing.

In addition, representatives from the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan were invited to several international events that will take place in the Republic of Belarus in the near future. Vadim Sinyavsky also participated in laying flowers at a monument to Heydar Aliyev, a prominent statesman and national leader of Azerbaijan.

Yesterday, after visiting the ADEX International Defense Exhibition, where the latest developments in the field of security were presented, the Belarusian delegation moved on to the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan. There, at the higher educational institution of the rescue service, the guests were shown the process of training personnel, as well as the educational, scientific, and logistical bases.

It is worth noting that cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan in the field of training personnel is at a high level. A total of 559 representatives from the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan have received training at the University of Civil Protection, which provides higher and science-oriented education programs. Currently, 93 representatives from this country are continuing their studies at the Belarusian rescue higher school. In addition, 210 specialists completed short-term training courses at the Branch of the Institute for Retraining and Professional Development at the University of Civil Protection.
