Vadim Sinyavsky paid a working visit to the Mozyr district

Today, the Minister for Emergency Situations Vadim Sinyavsky conducted a working visit to the Mozyr region.

The Minister held a reception of citizens in the District Executive Committee, during which he answered questions from city and district residents. In a conversation with the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Elena Pavlechko, they discussed the operational situation with fires in the area, the causes and conditions of their occurrence, as well as the measures taken to prevent them. Continuing his working day, Vadim Sinyavsky held a meeting with the personnel of the Mozyr District Department of the Ministry for Emergency Situations. As part of the United Information Day, he highlighted the key aspects of the message of the President of the Republic of Belarus to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. Since the main topic of the Address was the conditions for preserving the sovereignty and independence of the state, in his speech he elaborated on such aspects as historical memory and national traditions, national unity, social justice and the defense capability of the state.

Another topic was the discussion of current tasks and prospects for the development of the service in the region. The importance of coordinating actions and preparing for emergencies was highlighted as one of the priorities.

- According to the decision of the Commission on Emergency Situations, this year it is planned to purchase 18 new tankers for our southern regions of the country. This is an important step in strengthening the material and technical base and the ability to solve tasks according to their intended purpose," Vadim Sinyavsky noted. - 2 fire tankers will be delivered to the Mozyr City Emergency Department. Also, during the meeting with the staff, the Minister awarded the personnel of the region for their achievements and professionalism. The next point of the visit was the fire rescue team No. 4 at the facilities of JSC Mozyr Refinery and LPDS Mozyr. Having familiarized himself with the level of organization of the service, the state of machinery and equipment, as well as the living conditions of service, the Minister stressed the importance of rescuers training, emergency preparedness and rapid response capabilities.

- Only by providing a high level of preparedness and response, we can ensure the safety and protection of citizens and economic facilities, - said Vadim Sinyavsky. At the end of the working day, the Minister visited one of the key enterprises in the Mozyr region - JSC "Mozyr Oil Refinery". The meeting with the plant's management was devoted to discussing issues of cooperation between the enterprise and the Department for Emergency Situations, as well as ensuring safety at the plant. Both sides expressed their willingness to work together to ensure the safety and stability of the enterprise.
